1. A surgical instrument system, comprising:
a loading unit including movable jaw members;
an elongated body; and
a tip assembly disposed on the elongated body and configured to removably mount the loading unit to the elongated body to enable drive force to be transmitted through the elongated body to move the jaw members between an open position and a closed position, the tip assembly including:
a yoke defining a receiving space and configured to facilitate securement of the loading unit to the elongated body in response to movement of the yoke; and
a ring portion secured to the elongated body and including a guide ramp that is configured to selectively cooperate with the receiving space of the yoke, the yoke including a tab member and a stop member configured to selectively cooperate with the guide ramp of the ring portion to enable the yoke to releasably receive the loading unit within the receiving space.
