1. A surgical tool, comprising:
an elongate shaft; and
an end effector operably coupled to a distal end of the elongate shaft and comprising:
first and second jaws rotatably mounted to an end effector axle;
a first cutting body mountable within a first recess defined in the first jaw and having a first blade that moves in tandem with the first jaw; and
a second cutting body mountable within a second recess defined in the second jaw and having a second blade that moves in tandem with the second jaw,
wherein the first and second jaws are movable between a closed configuration, in which the first and second jaws are positioned adjacent one another and the first and second cutting bodies are disengaged from each other, a first open configuration, in which the first and second jaws are separated and the first and second blades remain occluded, and a second open configuration, in which the first and second blades are exposed and a gap is defined therebetween.
