1. A system comprising:
a sensor module attached to a wearable garment, the sensor module configured to measure movement of a portion of the wearable garment;
a display device;
a processor; and
an interface provided to the sensor module for outputting measurement data to the processor;
wherein the processor is configured to process the measurement data received via the interface by:
separating the measurement data into primary and secondary movements,
processing the measurement data of the primary and secondary movements to determine respective primary and secondary movement parameters,
calculating an index value based on the primary and secondary movement parameters of the primary and secondary movements,
comparing the index value to a reference value to provide a comparison result, and
providing a visual indication of the comparison result using the display device.

17. A method of using a wearable garment that includes a sensor module configured to measure movement experienced by the wearable garment, the method comprising the steps of:
measuring movement with the sensor module over a first time frame;
forming output measurement data, from the sensor module, for a processor;
providing a visual indication of a performance comparison result using a display device; and
processing the measurement data with the processor into an index value representative of the movement of the wearable garment, wherein the processing comprises:
separating the measurement data into primary and secondary movements,
processing information about the primary and secondary movements to determine movement parameters,
calculating a first index value representative of the parameters of the primary and secondary movements for the first time frame,
comparing the first index value to a reference value to provide the performance comparison result.
