1. One or more non-transitory computer-readable media having instructions that, when executed, configure a user equipment (UE) to:
receive configuration signaling to identify a downlink control information (DCI) in a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH);
identify a received DCI, wherein the DCI is appended with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits that are scrambled by a common radio network temporary identifier (RNTI), and wherein the DCI includes:
a first UE-specific sub-field related to the UE, wherein the first UE-specific sub-field includes a first indication that the UE is to transmit an aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) report and a second indication of a channel state information (CSI) triggering state that is selected from a first number of possible triggering states, wherein the first number of possible triggering states is one less than a number of bits of the first UE-specific sub-field; and
a second UE-specific sub-field related to a second UE, wherein the second UE-specific sub-field includes a third indication that the second UE is not to transmit an A-CSI report and a fourth indication of a CSI triggering state this is selected from a second number of possible triggering states, wherein the second number of possible triggering states is one less than a number of bits of the second UE-specific sub-field;
identify one or more CSI reference signals (CSI-RSs) in one or more occasions that follow an occasion in which the DCI is received; and
generate and transmit, based on the indication in the first UE-specific sub-field, an A-CSI report in a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource based on the CSI-RSs.
