1. An integrated circuit, comprising:
transmission circuitry that, in operation, controls transmission of control information associated with one or more sequences which are grouped into a group, wherein the one or more sequences are M number of sequences with sequence numbers r, by which absolute value of difference between rb/Nb and r/N is the smallest M values, where Nb is a defined sequence length which is common to all cells, rb is an integer number which is less than Nb, and N is a sequence length which depends on a transmission bandwidth; and
reception circuitry that, in operation, controls reception of a reference signal generated using one of the one or more sequences based on the control information.
