1. A method for manufacturing a multi-mode optical fiber, the method comprising:
measuring at least one characteristic of a multi-mode optical fiber under test as the multi-mode optical fiber under test is drawn from a multi-mode optical fiber preform, wherein the at least one characteristic is a modal bandwidth or a differential mode delay at one or more wavelengths;
determining a measured peak wavelength of the multi-mode optical fiber under test based on the measured characteristic;
determining a difference between a target peak wavelength and the measured peak wavelength; and
while drawing the multi-mode optical fiber under test from the multi-mode optical fiber preform, adjusting at least one drawing process parameter based on the difference between the target peak wavelength and the measured peak wavelength to produce the multi-mode optical fiber.
