1. A material size reducing and storage device system for facilitating recycling, comprising:
a device, the device having:
a housing unit extending from a front to a back, from a first side to a second side, and from a top to a bottom, thereby forming an interior area;
an access door on the housing unit to provide access to the interior area;
a locking mechanism engaged with the access door to prevent the access door from opening into the housing unit;
a display unit secured to the housing unit and accessible from the front of the housing unit, the display unit to provide information for a user;
a scanner secured within the interior area of the housing unit;
an electric motor disposed within the housing unit;
a gear reduction box disposed within the housing unit;
a size reduction unit for flexible material accessible from the front of the housing unit and extending into the housing unit;
a size reduction unit for nonflexible material accessible from the front of the housing unit and extending into the housing unit, the size reduction unit for nonflexible material is configured to be driven by the gear reduction box, powered by the electric motor, to shred nonflexible material;
a storage door disposed within the housing unit and configured to open and close from the housing unit to enter into a storage unit;
a cleaning system secured to the housing;
a heating system disposed within the housing unit and within the storage unit to receive nonflexible material and flexible material from the size reduction unit for flexible material and the size reduction unit for nonflexible material; and
a computer system secured within the interior of the housing unit and to provide for operation of components of the device;
one or more chutes extending from the reduction unit for flexible material and the reduction unit for non-flexible material and into one or more storage units within the interior area of the housing unit; and
one or more storage drawers extending into the housing unit to provide access to the one or more storage units;
wherein the display unit communicates to the user and receives input from the user;
wherein the scanner analyzes and detects recycling material type from flexible and non-flexible material that are inserted into the housing unit; and
wherein the heating system facilitates further size reduction of flexible material, nonflexible material, or both.
