1. An apparatus for assessing the severity of stenosis in a blood vessel, comprising:
a processor configured for communication with an intravascular catheter positionable within the blood vessel, wherein the processor is configured to:
receive physiological data of the blood vessel from a first sensor of the intravascular catheter;
receive, from at least one of a second sensor of the intravascular catheter or an x-ray imaging device, data representing a degree of expansion of a centering assembly of the intravascular catheter;
receive data representing a size of the intravascular catheter;
calculate an offset correlation based on:
the data representing the size of the intravascular catheter; and
the data representing the degree of expansion of the centering assembly;
calculate a flow reserve index representative of an impact to blood flow based on the physiological data and the offset correlation; and
output the flow reserve index to a display in communication with the processor.
