relationships between the plurality of artifacts, wherein the relationships between artifacts are based on relationships between the tags associated with the plurality of artifacts as defined by a tag hierarchy;
receive a modification to a first tag type;
determine a set of artifacts for modification, wherein the set of artifacts for modification is associated with tags having the first tag type; and
modify the set of artifacts for modification by updating the tags having the first tag type and being associated with the set of artifacts for modification according to the received modification to the first tag type.
