1. A method for encoding a bitstream for a video signal by an encoding apparatus, the method comprising:
determining prediction type information of a current block, the prediction type information specifying whether the current block is coded in inter mode or intra mode;
encoding a luma intra prediction mode of the current block to the bitstream, based on that the prediction type information indicates that the current block is intra-coded, wherein the luma intra prediction mode is an intra prediction mode for a luma sample of the current block;
determining a chroma intra prediction mode of the current block; and
encoding intra chroma prediction mode information of the current block to the bitstream, the intra chroma prediction mode information specifying the chroma intra prediction mode of the current block, wherein the chroma intra prediction mode is an intra prediction mode for a chroma sample of the current block;
wherein, the intra chroma prediction mode information of the current block is determined according to a predefined table based on the luma intra prediction mode of the current block and the chroma intra prediction mode of the current block, and
wherein, the intra chroma prediction mode information of the current block has a specific value, based on that the chroma intra prediction mode of the current block is equal to the luma intra prediction mode of the current block.
