1. A non-transitory machine readable medium comprising instructions for a policy engine of a storage virtualization system, the instructions executable by a processing resource to:
read, from a container orchestrator, a manifest of a first containerized application to which a virtual persistent volume is allocated, wherein the manifest indicates properties associated with the first containerized application, the properties comprising at least one of a name of the first containerized application or an image on which the first containerized application is based;
identify an application data store profile that matches the properties of the manifest from among a plurality of application data store profiles, wherein each respective application data store profile of the plurality of application data store profiles includes storage parameters preconfigured for a respective application type of a containerized application; and
modify the virtual persistent volume according to the identified application data store profile.
