1. An image forming apparatus for forming a toner image on a recording material, the image forming apparatus comprising:
a fixing unit including a first rotatable member, a heating member configured to heat the first rotatable member, and a second rotatable member configured to form a fixing nip portion together with the first rotatable member, and configured to heat and fix the toner image formed on the recording material at the fixing nip portion;
a blower unit configured to blow air around the second rotatable member; and
a temperature detection unit configured to detect a temperature of the fixing unit,
wherein an interval when a print operation is started is a first interval in a case where a temperature detected by the temperature detection unit when the print operation is started is a first temperature, and the interval when the print operation is started is a second interval in a case where the temperature detected by the temperature detection unit when the print operation is started is a second temperature,
wherein the interval is an interval between a preceding recording material and a recording material subsequent to the preceding recording material,
wherein the first temperature is a predetermined temperature or higher, and the second temperature is lower than the predetermined temperature,
wherein the second interval is wider than the first interval, and
wherein the blower unit is operated during the print operation in a case where the print operation is performed at the first interval, and the blower unit is not operated during the print operation in a case where the print operation is performed at the second interval.
