1. A composition for prophylactically mitigating the harmful effects of stroke, the composition comprising a mixture of creatine, magnesium salt, and one or more ketone bodies selected from the groups consisting of (1) creatine monohydrate, creatine ethyl ester, creatine ethyl ester malate, creatine gluconate, creatine hydrochlorate, tri creatine malate, tri creatine orotate, and phosphocreatine, (2) magnesium gluconate, magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, and magnesium citrate, and (3) β-Hydroxybutyrate (BHB) and acetoacetate; and further wherein the creatine, magnesium salt, and one or more ketone bodies are present in a 2:1:2 ratio.
