1. A surgical system, comprising:
an electric motor; and
a surgical instrument, comprising:
a housing comprising an input shaft operably coupled to the electric motor, wherein the input shaft is rotatable in a first mode by the electric motor;
a shaft extending from the housing an end effector, comprising:
a fastener cartridge comprising a plurality of fasteners removably stored therein; and
an anvil configured to deform the fasteners;
a translatable drive member configured to move the anvil toward and away from the fastener cartridge, wherein the translatable drive member is movable by the electric motor in the first mode; and
a rotatable actuator knob configured to be rotated multiple full rotations in a second mode to manually cause the input shaft to move the anvil.
