1. A method of wireless communication at a user equipment (UE), comprising:
receiving a configuration of reserved resources;
receiving a grant assigning resources for a data transmission in a first portion of a slot;
determining an availability of resources in a second portion of the slot based on whether an extension of the data transmission from the first portion of the slot into the second portion of the slot would overlap reserved resources indicated by the configuration of reserved resources;
determining whether to extend the data transmission into the second portion of the slot based on the determined availability of resources; and
sending the data transmission in the slot based on a result of determining whether to extend the data transmission.
