1. A system for manufacturing ammunition, comprising:
a case feeder for receiving and conveying cylindrical polymer cases, each case including a bottom portion and an open top end;
a primer feed and insert station configured to receive cases from the case feeder and insert a primer into each case;
a propellant fill station operative to receive cases from the primer feed station and fill each case with propellant through the open end of the case;
a bullet insert station operative to receive the cases from the propellant fill station and insert a bullet into the case, thereby closing off the open end of the case;
an assembly station operative to receive the cases from the bullet insert station and attach the bullets to the cases to output assembled rounds of ammunition; and
wherein the assembly station attaches the bullets to the cases by gluing or by way of a pressure fit.
