1. A method for tuning a master data management (MDM) system, the method comprising:
retrieving, by one or more processors, one or more sample pairs of record data;
determining, by the one or more processors, a false positive rate regarding a performance of a matching operation of the MDM system based on the one or more sample pairs;
determining, by the one or more processors, a false negative rate regarding the performance of a matching operation of the MDM system based on the one or more sample pairs;
in response to the false positive rate being above a first threshold value, adjusting, by the one or more processors, a matching region threshold value associated with the matching operation of the MDM system; and
in response to the false negative rate being above a second threshold value, adjusting, by the one or more processors, a non-matching region threshold value associated with the matching operation of the MDM system.
