1. A circuit assembly for performing a switching function, the circuit assembly comprising:
an input node;
an output node; and
a branch coupled to the input node and to the output node, the branch including a single main path and a plurality of auxiliary paths, the single main path including a plurality of main field-effect transistors (FETs), each of the plurality of auxiliary paths including a plurality of auxiliary FETs, the single main path coupled in series with the plurality of auxiliary paths with each of the plurality of auxiliary paths coupled in parallel with each other, the plurality of auxiliary paths configured to generate third-order harmonics or third-order intermodulation products that are opposite in phase to third-order harmonics or third-order intermodulation products generated by the single main path.
