1. A railroad tie plate placement system comprising:
a vehicle configured to travel on a railroad track having a pair of railroad rails supported by a plurality of railroad ties;
a vibratory tie plate distributor, the vibratory tie plate distributor including an input, a bottom end, a ramp, a first diverter, and a second diverter, the input disposed at an upper end of the vibratory tie plate distributor, the ramp extending around a periphery of the vibratory tie plate distributor, the ramp connecting the input to the bottom end, the first diverter configured to rotate a tie plate in a first direction as the tie plate travels along the tie plate distributor, the second diverter disposed downstream of the first diverter and configured to rotate the tie plate in the first direction, or a second direction opposite the first direction, as the tie plate travels along the tie plate distributor; and
a tie plate ejector positioned adjacent to the bottom end, and the tie plate ejector configured to eject the tie plate in a predetermined orientation of a field end of the tie plate independent of an orientation of the tie plate when the tie plate is positioned in the tie plate ejector.
