1. An apparatus for applying a sticker label to a waste container, the apparatus comprising:
an xyz-positioner;
a sticker labeling dispenser, wherein the sticker labeling dispenser is disposed on the xyz-positioner, and wherein the xyz-positioner is configured to move the sticker labeling dispenser along x, y, and z coordinates and into proximity with the waste container, such that the sticker label can be applied to the waste container; and
a lid containment arm disposed on the xyz-positioner and configured to contact a lid of the waste container and keep the lid in a closed position, such that the sticker label can be applied to both the lid and a side wall of the waste container, wherein the waste container comprises one or more of a garbage container, a recycling container, an organics container, and a yard waste container, and wherein the apparatus is configured to close the lid of the waste container while the waste container is lifted into the air during servicing, or to ensure that the lid of the waste container is closed before applying the sticker label.
