1. A method comprising:
causing display on an operator device of a generator interface for a content generator configured to automatically generate configuration data for a plurality of gameplay units in a computer-implemented game, the generator interface providing a cluster selection mechanism configured to permit operator selection from a plurality of predefined player clusters, each player cluster defining a respective subset of a global set of players of the game;
via the cluster selection mechanism of the generator interface, receiving operator input indicating selection of one of the plurality of player clusters;
accessing player model data specific to the selected player cluster; and
causing automated generation by the content generator of gameplay configuration data for the plurality of gameplay units based at least in part on the player model data for the selected player cluster, the configuration data thus being automatically customized for the selected player cluster.
