1. An exercise machine, comprising:
a frame;
a carriage movably positioned upon the frame, wherein the carriage includes a first end and a second end opposite the first end of the carriage, wherein the first end and second end of the carriage are spaced apart, wherein the carriage is adapted to be movable in a first direction and a second direction, and wherein the first direction is opposite of the second direction;
a plurality of biasing members each operative to provide a force for resisting movement of the carriage, wherein each of the plurality of biasing members has a first end and a second end;
a plurality of first tension connectors accessible near the first end of the carriage and adapted for removably attaching selected biasing members at or near the first end of the carriage to resist motion of the carriage in the first direction;
a plurality of second tension connectors accessible near the second end of the carriage and adapted for removably attaching selected biasing members at or near the second end of the carriage to resist motion of the carriage in the second direction;
a plurality of return pulleys, wherein each second end of the plurality of biasing members is connected to a respective return pulley of the plurality of return pulleys; and
a plurality of elongated flexible members each having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of each of the plurality of elongated flexible members is coupled to a respective first tension connector of the plurality of first tension connectors, wherein the second end of each of the plurality of elongated flexible members is coupled to a respective second tension connector of the plurality of second tension connectors, and wherein each of the plurality of elongated flexible members pass through a respective return pulley of the plurality of return pulleys.
