1. A positive pressure ventilation system for delivery of supplemental oxygen from an oxygen supply to a patient with mechanical ventilation, the system comprising:
a delivery tube for delivery of a ventilation gas with supplemental oxygen from a supply to a patient;
an aerosol generator for delivery of aerosol into the delivery tube;
a ventilation gas flow rate sensor to sense a flow rate of the ventilation gas; and
a controller configured to:
control operation of the aerosol generator based on the sensed flow rate of the ventilation gas.
