1. A peristaltic pump, comprising:
a raceway configured to retain a tube;
a plunger configured to act on the tube disposed within the raceway;
a heater configured to heat the tube;
a heater controller configured to control heating of the heater; and
a temperature sensor configured to sense heat generated by the heater,
wherein the heater controller is configured to control the heater to achieve a target temperature when the peristaltic pump cannot achieve a target flow rate without activating the heater.
