1. A method comprising:
providing a surgical instrument, the surgical instrument comprising a shaft, a first blade positioned within the shaft and a second blade positioned within the first blade, the shaft extending along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to an opposite distal end, the distal end comprising a scraping surface defining a plurality of teeth;
engaging the teeth with bone;
moving the shaft relative to the bone to scrape tissue from the bone; and
rotating the first blade relative to the second blade to grind the scraped tissue into ground tissue.
