1. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) configured to operate in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
transmitting a physical random access channel (PRACH); and
receiving a random access response (RAR) in response to the PRACH,
wherein the PRACH is transmitted on a specific random access channel (RACH) occasion (RO) among a plurality of ROs,
wherein a starting frequency position of the specific RO in a frequency domain is determined by the UE based on:
(i) a lowest resource block (RB) index of a first RB set, among RB sets, comprising the specific RO,
(ii) an RB-level frequency offset for a starting RB of an RO positioned at a lowest frequency among the plurality of ROs, and
(iii) a lowest RB index of a second RB set, among the RB sets, comprising the RO positioned at the lowest frequency,
wherein the RB sets are included in one uplink bandwidth part (BWP),
wherein each RB set included in the RB sets is a contiguous set of RBs in a shared spectrum, and
wherein a channel access procedure for the shared spectrum is performed in an RB set included in the RB sets.
