1. A method for wireless communication by a wireless node, comprising:
transmitting a first sidelink power savings configuration to a first one or more user equipment (UEs), wherein the first sidelink power savings configuration is a current power savings configuration used for a second one or more UEs;
receiving from each of the first one or more UEs a proposed sidelink power savings configuration in response to the first sidelink power savings configuration;
determining a second sidelink power savings configuration to use for sidelinks between the wireless node and the first one or more UEs and the second one or more UEs;
providing the second sidelink power savings configuration to the first one or more UEs and the second one or more UEs; and
following the second sidelink power savings configuration for communicating with the first one or more UEs and the second one or more UEs.
