1. A method of enabling a flexible channel bandwidth in a mobile radio communication network, comprising:
configuring a first signal-processing circuitry to provision a plurality of different selectable subcarrier spacings for a plurality of consecutive Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) subcarriers;
configuring the first signal-processing circuitry to transform a serial data stream into a sequence of data-modulated pulses positioned inside each symbol, the sequence comprising a superposition of the plurality of OFDM subcarriers;
configuring the first signal-processing circuitry to select a pulse spacing and symbol duration in the sequence by selecting one of the plurality of different selectable subcarrier spacings, each of the plurality of different selectable subcarrier spacings corresponding to a different pulse spacing and symbol duration; and
configuring a second circuitry to transmit the sequence in the mobile radio communication network.
