1. A hard disk drive comprising:
a base deck coupled to a cover;
a motor assembly coupled to the base deck and including a stationary component with a sleeve and a rotatable component with a shaft; and
magnetic recording media coupled to the motor assembly,
the motor assembly including a magnetic bearing with a horizontal magnetic bearing component and a vertical magnetic bearing component, wherein the vertical magnetic bearing component includes an upper pair of repelling magnetic poles and a lower pair of repelling magnetic poles.
