1. An electronic device comprising:
a display;
a processor; and
a memory,
wherein the memory stores one or more instructions configured to, when executed, cause the processor to:
after a condition to turn off the display is satisfied, based on a determination that a turned on state of the display is maintained for a first predetermined time, determine a second value associated with a luminance of the display by decreasing a first value associated with the luminance of the display via a decrement value, wherein the first value corresponds to a predetermined luminance value in the turned on state of the display; and
change the luminance of the display based on the determined second value.
