1. A cooking vessel, comprising:
a food receptacle configured to contain food during cooking;
an inner shell and an outer shell, an outside surface of the inner shell forms the food receptacle, a portion of an inside surface of the inner shell is spaced from a portion of an inside surface of the outer shell forming a sealed volume between the inner shell and the outer shell; and
a working fluid positioned within the sealed volume between the inner shell and the outer shell sufficient to distribute heat through the sealed volume between the inner shell and the outer shell upon a portion of an outside surface of the outer shell receiving heat from a heating device, wherein the working fluid is configured to absorb heat from the heating device to cause the working fluid to change state from a liquid to a vapor within an evaporation zone positioned within the sealed volume between the inner shell and the outer shell, and the working fluid is configured to release heat upon condensing back into liquid form within a condensation zone positioned within the sealed volume between the inner shell and the outer shell.
