1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
determining first data corresponding to audio detected by at least one microphone;
processing the first data with a wakeword detection component;
determining, using the wakeword detection component, that the first data does not include a representation of a wakeword;
determining, using a component, that the audio represents a human cough; and
altering at least one operational parameter of a first device based at least in part on determining that the audio represents a human cough.
