1. A system comprising:
a client device including circuitry configured to perform operations comprising:
obtaining an external signal for reconfiguring hardware components of the client device;
in response to obtaining the external signal:
causing an application to access one or more hardware components of the client device, the one or more hardware components of the client device being otherwise inaccessible to the application; and
causing one or more other hardware components of the client device to be inaccessible to the application in connection with causing the one or more hardware components of the client device to be accessible to the application; and
in response to a trigger, causing the one or more hardware components of the client device to be inaccessible to the application.
