1. A display substrate having a plurality of subpixel regions, comprising a base substrate and a pixel definition layer for defining a plurality of subpixel openings on the base substrate, the plurality of subpixel openings being in one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of subpixel regions, each of the plurality of subpixel openings being located in a corresponding one of the plurality of subpixel regions, wherein,
the display substrate further comprises a functional medium layer in each of the plurality of subpixel regions and on a side of the pixel definition layer away from the base substrate,
the functional medium layer comprises a first portion covering side surfaces of each of the plurality of subpixel openings and a second portion covering a top surface of the pixel definition layer, and
in a same subpixel region of the plurality of subpixel regions, surface energy of the first portion is greater than surface energy of the second portion,
each of the first and second portions comprises a lyophobic polymer photo-grafted with a lyophilic monomer material, and
a grafting ratio of the first portion is greater than a grafting ratio of the second portion.
