1. A cross-chain transaction method, comprising:
determining, by a first node, that a first transaction status of a first transaction is a first status, the first status indicating that consensus verification on the first transaction succeeded, the first node maintaining a first blockchain and the first transaction belonging to the first blockchain;
obtaining, by the first node, a second transaction status of a second transaction, a second node maintaining a second blockchain and the second transaction belonging to the second blockchain; and
modifying, by the first node, target data, the modifying being based on first transaction data of the first transaction when the second transaction status of the second transaction is the first status, the target data comprising data in a state machine of the first node, the target data being related to the first transaction.
