1. A method for manufacturing ammonia, the method comprising:
contacting a gas containing nitrogen and hydrogen with a catalyst,
wherein the catalyst comprises a metal-supported material comprising:
12CaO·7Al2O3; and
plural kinds of metal atoms supported on the 12CaO·7Al2O3,
wherein a specific surface area of the 12CaO·7Al2O3 is 5 m2/g or more; and
the plural kinds of metal atoms comprises
a metal ruthenium, and
an alkali metal atom or an alkaline earth metal atom.
