1. A deodorizing device comprising:
an enclosure shaped as a tube and having ventilation holes and two caps, at least one of the caps being a removable cap, said enclosure being comprised of plastic that is infused with antimicrobial ions and configured without lateral extensions that restrict the enclosure from contacting a surface of an item to be deodorized;
a removable insert displaced within said enclosure, said insert including a moisture absorbing deodorizer.
