1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
determining, by a computing system, a first set of images that includes first images associated with first locations that are within a first threshold distance of a first location and first poses within a first threshold deviation of a first average pose;
determining, by the computing system, a second set of images that includes second images associated with second locations that are within a second threshold distance of a second location and second poses within a second threshold deviation of a second average pose;
grouping, by the computing system, the first set of images and the second set of images together based on a first similarity of the first location and the second location and a second similarity of the first average pose and the second average pose;
generating, by the computing system, a map portion based on the first set of images and the second set of images.
