1. A method of transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), a narrowband physical random access channel (NPRACH) preamble in a wireless communication system supporting time division duplexing (TDD), the method comprising:
receiving, from a base station (BS), NPRACH configuration information via a higher layer signaling; and
transmitting, to the BS, the NPRACH preamble based on the NPRACH configuration information,
wherein, based on a preamble format 1-a, the NPRACH preamble consisting of a preamble repetition unit is repeatedly transmitted, wherein the preamble repetition unit consists of 6 symbol groups,
wherein the 6 symbol groups consist of 3 time-contiguous symbol groups,
wherein the NPRACH preamble is transmitted based on two consecutive uplink subframes related to uplink/downlink configuration 1 or uplink/downlink configuration 4, and
wherein, based on the 3 time-contiguous symbol groups overlapping with an invalid uplink subframe among the two consecutive uplink subframes:
the 3 time-contiguous symbol groups are dropped, and
based on a remaining uplink subframe among the two consecutive uplink subframes being a valid uplink subframe:
the valid uplink subframe is not used for the transmission of the NPRACH preamble, and
the valid uplink subframe is related to a resource to which a narrowband physical uplink shared channel (NPUSCH) is mapped.
