1. A method for spectrum analysis, comprising:
receiving radiofrequency (RF) measurements corresponding to at least one signal from a RF receiver;
determining a time associated with the RF measurements;
converting the received RF measurements into spectral representation data;
analyzing the spectral representation data to identify at least one signal and determine a signal parameter of the at least one signal;
comparing the signal parameter of the at least one signal to signal characteristic listing data in a static database to determine whether the signal parameter of the at least one signal matches corresponding signal parameters in the signal characteristic listing data;
identifying the at least one signal based upon whether the signal parameter of the at least one signal matches any signal parameters in the signal characteristic listing data in the static database including hardware parameters, environment parameters, and terrain data;
wherein identifying the at least one signal includes calculating a threshold bar based on the hardware parameters, environment parameters, and terrain data to identify signals instead of noise;
determining if the at least one signal is moving using a frequency-locked loop by determining if there is a Doppler change in the at least one signal;
determining a geographic location of the at least one signal by synthesizing an aperture between any two monitoring units of a monitoring array based on a difference of time of arrival;
generating degradation data associated with the at least one signal and at least one signal optimization parameter indicating at least one step to optimize the at least one signal; and
storing data related to the signal parameter and the degradation data in a memory.
