1. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system supporting NarrowBand Internet of Things (NB-IoT), the method comprising:
obtaining information on an index of a wake up signal (WUS) group for the UE; and
monitoring a WUS for the UE based on the index of the WUS group,
wherein the index of the WUS group is changed over time based on a result of a floor function applied to a system frame number (SFN) and a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle of the UE.
