1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
receiving an Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) request generated by a supplicant for accessing network services through a network environment, wherein the EAP request corresponds to a device profile;
identifying that the supplicant has failed either or both authentication for the network environment and authorization for the network environment that are initiated based on the EAP request; and
facilitating transmission of a message coupled with a Remote Authentication Dial-In User service (RADIUS) Access-Reject message to a device of the supplicant including a failure indication of one or more reasons that the supplicant failed either or both authentication and authorization for the network environment, the message securely provided to the device of the supplicant to prevent a retry from the supplicant of a same type of EAP request corresponding to the device profile by providing the failure reason to the device;
receiving a different course of action from the device of the supplicant subsequent to the transmission of the message, wherein the different course of action includes successfully authenticating an identity of the device of the supplicant.
