1. A method comprising:
triggering, by a wireless device configured to communicate with a primary cell and a secondary cell, a scheduling request (SR) process, wherein the secondary cell is configured with SR resources and is in a secondary cell group; and
initiating a random access procedure, associated with the SR process, based on:
the wireless device not having an uplink channel resource available in a time interval; and
the wireless device not having a valid timing advance for the secondary cell in the time interval.
