1. A power amplifier system comprising:
a power amplifier configured to provide amplification to a radio frequency signal, the power amplifier including a bipolar transistor having a base that receives the radio frequency signal and a base bias signal, and an inductor configured to provide a power amplifier supply voltage to a collector of the bipolar transistor; and
a power amplifier bias control circuit configured to generate the base bias signal of the power amplifier based on a bandwidth signal indicating a bandwidth of the radio frequency signal, the power amplifier bias control circuit having a bandwidth that adapts to the bandwidth of the radio frequency signal as indicated by the bandwidth signal, the bandwidth of the power amplifier bias control circuit is configured to widen in response to the bandwidth signal indicating an increase in the bandwidth of the radio frequency signal, and to narrow in response to the bandwidth signal indicating a decrease in the bandwidth of the radio frequency signal.
