1. A power tool comprising:
a housing;
a motor within the housing;
a battery pack interface configured to receive a battery pack and provide power to the motor;
an actuator movably coupled to the housing; and
an electronic controller connected to the motor, the battery pack, and the actuator, the electronic controller configured to:
detect that the actuator has been actuated,
drive the motor at a first speed,
increase a speed of the motor from the first speed to a target second speed until a predetermined time threshold is reached, wherein the predetermined time threshold is in a range of 10-150 seconds,
compare the speed of the motor to the target second speed of the motor, and
turn off the power tool when the predetermined time threshold is reached and if the speed of the motor has not reached the target second speed of the motor.
