1. An armored cable comprising one or more individually insulated conductors and an interlocked aluminum armored cable sheath enclosing the one or more individually insulated conductors, the interlocked aluminum armored cable sheath having an outer surface, and tape shrink wrapped onto the outer surface of the interlocked aluminum armored cable sheath and wherein the interlocked aluminum armored cable sheath is a helically interlocked continuous strip and wherein the tape is visually distinctive from the interlocked aluminum armored cable sheath, wherein the tape is shrink wrapped to provide an exposed portion of the interlocked aluminum armored cable sheath to maintain electrical grounding functionality throughout the interlocked aluminum armored cable sheath, wherein the tape comprises a continuous strip making multiple turns around the armored cable sheath such that the tape forms a helix, wherein the tape is applied and shrink wrapped along an entire length of the interlocked aluminum armored cable sheath in a pattern that provides the exposed portion of the interlocked aluminum armored cable sheath to maintain the electrical grounding functionality throughout the interlocked aluminum armored cable sheath.
