1. A method performed by one or more computing devices, the method comprising:
obtaining, by the one or more computing devices, property data indicating attributes of a plurality of properties;
clustering, by the one or more computing devices and using the property data, the plurality of properties into two or more property clusters, each property cluster including two or more properties having at least one common attribute;
maintaining, by the one or more computing devices, data indicating (i) a frequency for computing energy consumption for one or more energy consuming devices that are located at a property included in a first cluster of two or more property clusters, and (ii) a desired condition within the property;
determining, by the one or more computing devices, using the frequency and for each of the one or more energy consuming devices at the property, an amount of energy consumption attributable to usage of the respective energy consuming device at the property;
determining, by the one or more computing devices and using energy consumption data for the first property cluster, an energy requirement for maintaining the desired condition within the property;
determining, by the one or more computing devices, that usage of at least one of the one or more energy consuming devices at the property is energy inefficient using the amounts of energy consumption for the one or more energy consuming devices at the property and the energy requirement determined using the energy consumption data for the first property cluster;
identifying, by the one or more computing devices, from the one or more energy consuming devices, and using the energy consumption data for the first property cluster, at least one energy consuming device that is inefficient;
in response to identifying the at least one energy consuming device that is inefficient, determining, by the one or more computing devices and using the energy consumption data for the property cluster, to change a setting of the at least one energy consuming device that is inefficient from a first setting to a second setting to improve the efficiency of the at least one energy consuming device;
automatically changing, by the one or more computing devices, the setting of the at least one energy consuming device that is inefficient from the first setting to the second setting;
obtaining, by the one or more computing devices, updated property data indicating updated attributes of at least one of the plurality of properties; and
in response to obtaining the updated property data, clustering, by the one or more computing devices, the plurality of properties into two or more updated property clusters.
