1. A method for applying multi-faceted trust scores in data security for computer network data, the method comprising:
determining a plurality of data facets for data items collected from the computer network data, the data facets comprising metadata associated with the data items including objective data facets, subjective data facets, and synthetic data facets for each collected data item, the objective data facets based on objective metadata associated with the collected data items, the subjective data facets based on a rating of a user, and the synthetic data facets calculated from heuristics associated with the data items, the data facets being determined from a decision table;
determining, a plurality of parameters and weights corresponding to the plurality of data facets including the objective data facets, the subjective data facets, and the synthetic data facets associated with the data items, the parameters and weights being determined based on historical data associated with the data items or the data facets;
selecting, from the decision table, one or more data facets for each data item, the selected data facets contributing to a final trust score based on their relative weights;
calculating at least one multi-faceted trust score for each data item as a sum of a plurality of trust scores associated with the selected data facets;
combining the at least one multi-faceted trust score of the data item with at least one lineage associated with the data item, wherein the at least one lineage is based on evaluation of data provenance of the data item;
selectively taking a predetermined action based on the at least one multi-faceted trust score and the at least one lineage, the predetermined action including one or more of: notifying at least one user, an automated action starting an intelligent business process management workflow, integrating the at least one multi-faceted trust score into a decision table, and creating a report; and
providing the at least one multi-faceted trust score for the plurality of data items to a client device user display.
