1. A system for calibrating sensors, the sensors including a light detection and ranging (LIDAR) sensor, a thermal sensor, and an image sensor, the system comprising:
a calibration device comprising:
a core layer,
a first layer comprising a conductive material disposed on a top surface of the core layer, the first layer partially exposing the top surface of the core layer, and having a first edge and a second edge, the first edge and the second edge configured to form a first exposed region therebetween in which the top surface of the core layer is not covered by the first layer,
a second layer comprising a solder layer disposed on a top surface of the first layer, and
a third layer comprising a silkscreen material disposed on a top surface of the second layer, the third layer partially exposing the top surface of the second layer, and having a third edge and a fourth edge, the third edge and the fourth edge configured to form a second exposed region therebetween in which the top surface of the second layer is not covered by the silkscreen material;
wherein the first edge and the third edge are substantially aligned in a plane that is transverse to the top surface of the core layer; and
a processor configured to perform sensor calibration by:
determining, based on first sensor data received from a first one of the sensors, a location of the first edge of the calibration device,
determining, based on second sensor data received from a second one of the sensors, a location of the third edge of the calibration device, and
determining that the first one of the sensors and the second one of the sensors are calibrated if the location of the first edge and the location of the third edge are determined to be aligned in the plane that is transverse to the top surface of the core layer.
