1. A method of determining electromagnetic exposure values of a transmitting device having a plurality of transmit chains, comprising:
transmitting one or more first excitation signals, the one or more first excitation signals chosen in advance of any measurement;
measuring first electromagnetic exposure values from the transmitting of the one or more first excitation signals,
transmitting one or more second excitation signals, wherein the one or more second excitation signals are adaptively chosen based on a result of previous measurements of the one or more first excitation signals,
measuring second electromagnetic exposure values from the transmitting of the one or more second excitation signals, and
inferring electromagnetic exposure values of all possible transmitted signals from a set of measured values comprising the first electromagnetic exposure values and the second electromagnetic exposure values.
